Anyone heard what the August 2015 incentives are going to be?

Well? I talked to a salesperson today as I finally found the exact car I want. I asked about the upcoming August incentives and she "didn't know yet". I'm sure its so I couldn't decide to buy the car today if they were getting worse or something. But has anyone heard yet? I am hoping she will email me tomorrow and let me know what has been added to sell these Camaros fast.

She confirmed that the
1500 and the
750 GM cash will remain
750 if a credit union member and I get
500 for having a competing lease vehicle

hoping for a little more, then I need a private offer
Dan

What's the 750 cash and the 750 credit unit member incentives?

I don't see those on Chevy's website when I look at offers for the Camaro.

the current rebates are 1500 and 750 from GM, you can have them both 2250 off all the cars. My sales person told me yesterday I can get an additional 750 off for being a credit union member. We'll see, because I am one.

Also it seems that 0% financing is back until 8/10/15 now. Although on one page it said take delivery by 8/31 the others said delivery by 8/10. Camaro is included, i think you give up the GM 1500 though for it. You still get the 750. And anything else you qualify for.

I was also told this morning $750, over the phone with a dealer, for being a member of a credit union.

I ended up getting (with 0% financing), $1750 Bonus Cash Incentive plus $750 Credit Union, then got another $852 knocked off the OTD price on a 2LT Vert. Still trying to get a private offer though...

I officially haven't talked price with the salesperson yet, so far they have offered
MSRP 37175, Dealer price 35893, and 3500 in rebates. So that's 32393. I want them at 31500 after the rebates and before tax or 34500 before the rebates. Should be do able. I'm not taking the 0% though, I have a good rate from my credit union I am going to use and take advantage of 84 months. Low payments and the ability to overpay and get it paid off in a lot less time

I never know how low to go, you try to go low and they say theres no way were not making any money, and you have no idea if that's true or not, maybe I am being unrealistic or they are lying to keep the price up. End of the day as long as you are happy with your deal, and you get your car.

Still don't know how you guys are getting dealers to quote you such high manufacturers rebates.
Chevy's official site says $1,500 rebate. And that's it.

Site says 1500, yes, then there is another 750 GM consumer cash that I cant find but if you build and price and car you see below the rebate is 2250. (1500+750)

then if you go here, you will see where if you are a CU member you get another 750.00
https://www.mygmdiscount.com/GMVPP2/...n-Discount.pdf

then if you have a lease from another company than chevy/GM/buick/caddillac you can get 500.00 in GM leasee conquest cash. Scroll down to the Camaro
http://www.chevrolet.com/conquest-cash.html

So 1500+750+750+500 for me 3500 off the MRSP before I even start to talk to them
Then get a GM private offer and that's another 1000 off the Camaro 4500 off total now

The dealership doesn't care because none of this is out of their pocket. It is out of GM's pocket. So the dealership will still deal on the actual price of the car. They will tell you the price you are at is below invoice and yes it is. But not because the dealer is below the invoice price, the rebates are making it below. Apples and Oranges. They wont come down too much but there is probably another 1000-2000 to shift or get them to toss in a few accessories for free in the price. The one I am working on they came down about 1280 on their opening offer from the MSRP. I'm trying to get about another 1000 out of the dealership.

There are others out there if you aren't a CU member for insurance companies but you cant have the insurance ones and the CU one, they conflict, these 4 do not

Just got back, I think OppDan has this right. I ended up qualifying for 1.79% financing@72mths, so I took extra 1500 off so was OTD at 34500 on 2lt vert, auto, polish rims, RS package. Maybe I could have got more off maybe not but I got the colors I wanted and in the price range I was comfortable with. Yea I could wait another month or whatever but then I might end up with a white with blue interior or no RS package which isn't worth saving another 1000 or 2.
