Need a Private Offer for 1LE - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Going to jump on a 1LE this coming Monday if everything work's out, just looking to see if I can get a private offer not exactly sure how they work but the car I'm going for is a white 2SS 1LE, RS, NPP, and Navigation I will be getting the car in Texas, the community here is very helpful so let me thank you in advance.

use that the 16's are coming out and you could wait for those or ask for more money off the price. its worth about 3,000. to help them get rid of the old model car. you doing them a favor. don't seem eager to by. then walk away they should call you back to sell a old model car. never seem that you love the car thats when the salesmen start to own you. and don't bite on all the finance bull when financing the car. like maintenance plans and oil change planes. if they are trying to sell you something thats mostly profit for them. and don't put money down unless you have a crap load to put down. for every 1,000 dollars you put down its usually only about 17-25 dollars month difference. its better to a 1,000 in your pocket than changing your monthly payment by 20.00. and always get pre approved for your car loan that way you know what kind of interest rate you are looking at. the finance manager can change the interest rate to make more money for him. even if he says he can go through your bank. your bank could approve you for 2 % but he may charge you 5%. thats how he makes his money.
check other dealers around it might be worth a two hour drive to save a $1,000.00. don't ever seem that you have to have that car. Ive sold cars for two months just to learn the ins and outs of a car dealership experience. trust me they will not sell you a car if they are going to loose money. they can make money but not a lot from you. and finally do your research make sure you know everything you need to know about the car you want and the finance side. when you know as much or more than the salesmen and finance guy your in the driver side of your purchase. stay strong and you will prevail. hope this helps.
