Anyone taken car to dealer for the under dash rattle?

I have the rice-crispy sound coming from behind the glove box on the passenger side. Not there all the time but around 2k-3k rpm is when it's noticeable. I have read of people complaining about this and there is apparently already a TSB from GM about it. So, has anyone had this issue and did you dealer fix it, did they know about the TSB?
Thanks.

here is a thread on it...there is more but this one has the fix and TSB # but that thread also discussed another issue with the A/C condensation not draining and can be heard sloshing around. It is due to a pinched rubber drain grommet. There is a TSB on that as well. Next time you are drving and have the A/C on, when you park, look under the car and you should see water dropping on the floor, from the A/C condensation. If not, the drain plug grommet is pinched and sooner or later, your carpet will soaked and abnormal amount of condensation will be spitting out of the vents when you have the A/C on. The TSB description of the repair is simple.

About the rattle. You can't hear it if you have the radio on obviously. It seems to happen when the car has warmed up a bit and driving at 1.8k - 3k rpm. Listen for it coming from the glove box area, sound like rice-crispies when you pour milk on it, or sand getting kicked up against the fender wells. I called 1 dealer in my area today and the service person hasn't heard of this problem. I made an appt anyway and told him I will bring in the tsb numbers for reference. Sounds like a minor repair.

Good info on the problems! Good luck getting her fixed. I had the A/C water not draining problem with my ML350 and of course it wasn't covered. God I wish I could have traded that POS in on the Camaro!
