Ive always felt the Camaro looks better than the Corvette.
I know. I know, there will be some flack for that statement, but thats how ive ALWAYS felt about both cars. My previous first hand experience with Chevy has been the 1995 Z28 Camaro i owned. Even back then, i felt the fourth generation Camaro was a better looking car than the Vette that was produced at the same time.
Again, i know i will get flack, but its my personal taste. When Chevy dropped the 5th generation Camaro, i feel that car is a all time top CLASSIC design and still like it better than the 6th generation Corvette that was produced during the same time period. The 7th generation Corvette is even better, but STILL, i prefer the Camaro. Now, if you asked me to pick a ROADSTER vehicle, i WOULD say the Vette is what i would look at. To me, the Camaro, with its high beltline, and just the overall size and feel of the car, is waaay better than the low slung Corvette. Just MY opinion. The fact that you CAN get a vette engine in the Camaro, makes the whole deal a moot point for ME........... |

Everyone is untitled to their opinion, that's why there are so many makes and modes of vehicles. IMO they are both awesome vehicles, that's why I own one of each. That being said, I'll take the Vette over the Camaro as far as looks, as well as in just about all other areas

For me, I can't really compare the two. I like them both. Funny thing is the 6th gen Camaro coming out has many 7th gen Vette styling cues, and for me this is the best looking Camaro yet next to the gen one cars.

I like the C6 in terms of exterior better. It has to be a widebody z06 or grand sport though. I don't like narrow body c6s. The Camaro is still good looking nonetheless though. Especially the 14s front end. I love the aggressiveness.

C5 and C6 look better than the 4th and 5th gen. Interior is garbage, though

Chosen over C7, after a several hundred mile road trip in the C7. The heart wants what it wants, beauty in the eye of the beerholder, all that stuff. I'm not gonna lie though, I still think the Viper looks better than the vette or my Z/28. Just don't tell my wife.... |

Wasn't the C6 Vette considered C5.5?
Except for C6-Z06 of course!!

The only reason why I own a Camaro and not a Corvette is because I have a family. I like my car and all, most of the time but, the 10-13 years really turned me off from the 5th gen. If I were single, I'd likely be in a C6 Grand Sport or a C5Z. I'm not balling out of control that I can afford to have my car, my wife's '12 WRX and still have a daily beater with four doors. I'm active duty military and I'm not an officer. Otherwise, I'd be in a much faster car.

if the choice was between a 5th gen Camaro and a 7th Gen Corvette.......There would be no contest.
