A/C problems

I have a 2010 1ss and have had an issue with the a/c compressor. The a/c went out on me, stopped blowing cold air. Compressor checked out ok and would engage just fine. When the harness was wiggled or any kind of pressure put on it would start blowing cold air. For a quick fix i put a zip tie on it to hold a little pressure on it. Worked fine for a bit but now it doesn't. I did take it to the dealer originally since it was still under warranty at the time but they refused to do anything because i have mods and they said i could have easily damaged it when installing my mods. Can anyone help me??? I would like to be able to fix it without replacing the compressor. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a problem with the wiring connection. I would try to figure out exactly which wire is not making contact and go from there. It could be something as simple as some tarnished brass, or just a cracked wire. Hopefully the problem is in the connector itself, and not down in the compressor's internal electricals.
