Removing Rubber - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After a great weekend at CFest and also the drag strip, it is time to the car. What would be the best way to get rid of the rubber that's on the body and in the wheel well of the car without scratching the paint. I used a mix of vinegar and water and it only helped out a little. I may pick up a couple clay bars to see if that also does the trick. Are there any other ways to get rid of rubber?

I'm curious about this as well. I've used a clay bar and APC before on the painted surfaces, but getting the rubber out of the inner wheel well can be a pain using clay.

I use Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover on the body. It works great.

Will try these products out. I have the turtle wax tar remover so may try that out and re wax that area. Got Adams products coming in today so it would be a perfect time to wash the car again. Thanks for the tips really appreciate it.
