Difference in 2ss option

So im finally looking for a 5th gen, Ive researched and cant find a definitive answer. What is the difference between the 2ss with red SS logos with halo lights and a 2ss with white SS logos with regular lights. Ive found one listed as a 2ss with the white logos, regular headlights, it has leather, the center console gauges, sunroof. I thought the red logo ones were more optioned, and are the tail lights different between the two, because the one i found they look odd.

The 2SS with the red SS logos indicates it includes the RS trim package. The RS package (available for LT and SS models) adds 20-inch wheel, body-color roof moldings and antenna, high-intensity discharge headlamps.

And the "Heads Up Display" I believe is one difference from 1SS to 2SS if I recall correctly.

It is, along with backup camera/parking aid, heated side mirrors, leather/heated seats, premium sound.

Depends totally on the year of the car. What year was it?

HUD wasn't available on 2010s at all.

2010/2011 at least, and I THINK 2012 had darker tail lamp lenses with the RS package (Included on all models in 2013, or 2012 whenever they swapped that over), painted body color roof moldings, halos, red emblems, midnight silver wheels. 2014 I think midnight silver wheels were history. I don't think the body colored antenna came into play until sometime after the 2010 year as the 2010s were all black plastic.

2SS had the better speakers, leather, and connectivity package, as well as the console gages. Something like that. Same as a 1LT/2LT difference.

Starting in 2014, you also get a frameless auto dimming rear view mirror, color DIC, universal home remote, and heated auto dimming mirror for the drivers side.

2013's also have the universal home remote and both side mirrors are heated

Some of this is available on the 1SS as well... back up camera, park assist, frameless auto dim mirror (my favorite thing ever), etc.

My 1SS RS has everything in a 2SS except the leather seats and the HUD with color DIC.

Cam_Cam, the 1SS can be ordered with the extras like you mentioned, but they don't come standard. According to what's in the 2014 and 2015 brochure, see below.

If you look at your window sticker, I'm betting you paid extra for those upgraded amenities. Note, the 2014 brochure states 1SS replaces/adds options to the "2LT" but this is incorrect, otherwise it would have leather seats.

Your logos are red though right, now white? I thought the main difference between 1SS and 2SS was the leather seats basically, with the HUD and maybe NAV...

I should have stated it differently, yes both mirrors are heated, but I'm pretty sure only the driver mirror auto dims.
