Resurfacing Heads: Place/Price?
So once again I come back from the army and find more problems with the camaro. I'm starting to think I just got one of the bad ones produced
![]() I have a blown head gasket and am replacing them both of course, but I want to resurface the heads. I only called one place and the guy said that he wouldn't give me even a ball park range unless I gave him a $60 non-refundable deposit. I am wondering first, how much should I be paying for the heads to be resurfaced? And second, is there any local shop that will get this done for me? I am in Waterbury. |

Call Ted at Jannetty. I'm sure he could hook you up.

If anyone needs a place to resurface heads, Jannetty's doesn't. However, I called and visited Carlquist Performance at 98 Falls Ave, Oakville CT. It was $126 for LS3 heads to be resurfaced. But I also needed them cleaned and tested which raised the total to a little over $170.
860-274-0742 They also do a TON of other engine work and builds at a good price. Check them out! |

Glad you found someone. I knew Jannetty didn't do machining, but thought they could possibly point you in the right direction.
