Hi Everyone, I just traded my loved Camaro ss for a 2015 Challenger SRT 392. I was not in the market for a new car or plan on trading in my baby but, I was lied too. Long story short I bought my 2012 camaro from a car lot with 34,735 miles on it in October 2013. I loved the car it was clean and my wife gave me the green light since the payments were right at the time. I asked the salesman if the car was in any accidents and he assured me that it was not. I believed him so I bought the car out of excitement and poured lots of love into my car. On my birthday 7-20- of this year my wife tells me to go look at Sting rays because she likes them and so do I, just a little unpracticle having no back seat. The salesman says lets see what we can do to get you into a Sting Ray. He comes back with a carfax report telling me my camaro was in a accident and it said damage all over, it did not specify where the damage was so they would only give me 15,000 for the car. I was blown away and mad at the salesman and myself for falling for this lie. The dealer did not want to pass my car to anyone so it would go to auction if I traded it in, I was in shock, and very mad. I put hours of time and effort to take care of my car and now it was not the same. I did not take the offer and went home mad, I called the person who sold me the car and they denied telling me it was in no accident. I know its my fault for not asking for a car fax and I learned a very valuable lesson. I am a high scool football coach and had a prior football played that worked for a Dodge dealership and test drove the Challenger SRT wow what a car, I was nervous about the car fax, but they offered me $23,500 for my car, and knowing the history I ask where do I sign. I will miss my Camaro and maybe one day I get another one. I know you guys will give me Shit and I understand it, At least I stayed American Muscle. Man, no shit from me. The SRT 392 is a beast besides turning. But, overall a nice car.

I don't understand? Your originally paperwork would have said it was in an accident. I would check the original paperwork to see what it says.

I did not buy it from a dealer, it was private owned car lot, It is my responsiblity to ask for a car fax, honest dealers would provide one if they had nothing to hide, these guys are just dishonest as hell.

congrats on the SRT. when I finally cut my 15 buy ideas to less than five the SRT finished second behind my 1LE. i looked many times at a black one. i still web surf lots - scat pack in sublime with a shaker hood is what i like this week. if not for the 1LE i'd be in a SRT now.

That's a gorgeous car! Congrats. If I had the money, I'd have one of those parked right next to my Camaro. They are great cars.

ALWAYS get a Carfax report. If for no other reason, to ensure top dollar should you decide to sell or trade later... as you now know.

The 2015 Challengers are very nice. Huge improvement to the interiors vs previous years. The people that talk about how they can't turn haven't driven one. Congrats.
