Coil Spring Covers/ Sound detonating material

There has been some noise coming from my rear end on the rear left side. I mainly hear it at low speeds and when i apply pressure/bounce the car almost on the top of the rear wheel i can produce the squeak/noise. Im thinking it may be the spring but before i take it to the shop im wanting to purchase a set of those spring coil covers that youve seen on some aftermarket lowering springs in hopes of it being the fix.
