trade in-z/28
If the dollar was not an issue, would you trade in a 2015 ZL1 on a 2015 Z/28 ?

If I wanted a manual I would get the Z/28 but for an auto the ZL1 does it for me. Wish I could have both.

Add me to the no list. I would only have a Z28 if I could keep the ZL1.

I've been in both cars numerous times. ide take the z28 any day. its a monster. it is just so raw. also the z28 will walk the zl1. YES is beats zl1's. his stock z28 walked 2 different ones. yes its true. i never would have guessed, but Ii saw it with my own eyes. most of these guys have probably never been in one so wouldn't understand ^

When I first bought my ZL1, I thought it could use some oomph and that is one reason I made some mods to mine and it really made a difference (had to get stickier rear tires). Mines a daily driver and have no plans to be a track rat with it, so for street use I'm good with the ZL1 over a Z/28. |

Go fast, please.

They also went on to say that the Z/28 handles better, brakes harder, etc. Point is they both made it known that the Z/28 was slower and they missed that. I actually ended up talking to one of them for almost 2 hours exchanging stories about our cars. They seemed like really down to earth guys. |

I ordered and bought a 13 ZL1 first then sold it because I had a offer I could not turn down and bought a 28. I could not stand it so I found a 13 model ZL1 and had to have it. I missed the the ZL1 really bad. The 28 is a great car and it is a stout car. It is just not for me though.I guess the ride and all of the other options that are available on the ZL1 has me hooked and it is so refined it is a complete rush just to drive it. I sold the 13 the other day and just traded my 28 for a 15 ZL1 because I really like them. I think that the ZL1 is the baddest car and the cream of the crop of the camaro's and the best ever built. I know you have heard guys say they will never sell their cars after they buy them but I really do plan on keeping this one as long as I am healthy and can still drive! I am not a young guy so I am going to hang in there as long as I can with this one.

Keep your Z/28!
I have changed suspension components, coil springs, bushings, sway bars, and added carbon ceramic brakes. I think my car handles just fine. I believe well enough to not have a Z/28 "walk me".

If I had to pick between the two, I'd take the ZL1.

Is it worth the $
The lack of creature comforts in the Z28, not to mention the additional $20K steered me away. I had a C6 Z06 with that same LS7 engine thats in the 28, and I will say its is an absolute animal. It pulled harder from 3500 RPM and up..than anything I have ever owned before. The dealer I was just at said he just sold his last Z28 to guy who was planning on putting his kids in baby seats in the back of that car! The back seats are so hard to get to.
Dont know if they ever got the valve guide issue fixed or not though on the LS7.
