Z28 Front Splitter
Just wondering what people are paying for the oem Z28 splitter separately.
I do not want all the components of the Aero Package, just the splitter. My local Chevy dealer quoted me at $450, but when I asked if that was just the spoiler or both the spoiler and bolt/install kit they were clueless. Any help would be great.

That's the right price. When I bought my replacement it was just the splitter. Be sure to really inspect it before you leave.

Does buying the splitter separate also include the extra bracing that's needed to install it?

Does the aero package offered by gm include the braces for install? How would one get the braces separately if ordering just the splitter?

Just got a quote for $320 from a different dealership here in Northern California, yet they are having a hard time locating the bracketing kit because they've only done installs on Z/28's and not SS or ZL1's.

23227595, straight from the GM parts catalog. Haven't really seen any sites with it though.

23227595 is not out, no price at this time.
Edit: we found the # for you guys, so you know they list at $260 for the 4 parts (no bolts) Last edited by 2SSRS@Gen5diy; 09-18-2015 at 06:30 PM. |

This is very handy as... uhh... someone who might not be me tapped a curb and while the splitter is resilient as all hell.. knowing there are scrapes underneath is annoying.
Seriously. This thing is BURLY. If this was any other cars aeroparts there would be a pile of sadness and fail on that curb instead of just a few scrapes on the underside of my splitter. |
