Something about Camaros that are fun to drive.

I've only owned two cars before my Camaro.
1996 Ford Taurus
2006 Honda Accord

I really wanted a SS, but this V6 is amazing in every way. Currently working and going to college ( I'm 22), so this would do for me until my next car (C7)

Current Mods: MRT V1, FlashTech Halos,
Future mods: ported throttle body, zl1 diffuser, Fog Lights, CAI

This car is a lot for money, Thanks Chevy

What do you like the most about your Baby?

Please PLEASE dont say you have a V6. You're giving the V6 bashers a chance to hijack your thread and turn it into a V6 vs v8 thread.

The reason why the Camaro is fun to drive, IMO is because its a car that makes you drive it. IMO thats what I consider to be a drivers car. I love the understeer when going into and through a corner. I love the feel it gives the driver when you're doing some spirited driving through some twisty roads. It gives the driver the feeling of being a part of the drive instead of being along for the drive.

Again , just my opinion.

What do I like best about my baby... pretty much love everything about it - the looks, the interior (simple enough), the power, the sound... but if I had to pick one thing, I'd say how it makes me feel. A nice deep hum coming from the rear, a nice firm ride from underneath, a great drivetrain and engine up front... I just love how it makes me feel. Secure, in charge, under control - all of these things... the entire experience... Knowing the power is there, knowing its such a beautiful ride compared to the more 'common' cars around me, at least to me... the respect that other cars around give this ride after just a few mods... unreal.

Before this ride, I had no idea... ignorance wasn't bliss in this case because, well, the Camaro is bliss. Wish I could drive it cross country... may just do that one day still.

Before this one, I owned a '99 Z28, and a '95 Z28... but I grew up around 2nd and 3rd gens with uncles and cousins and friends who owned them. No car I've ever driven compares to it, even though I know there faster cars out there... to me, there's nothing better than what I'm driving these days.

My V8!! Sorry, couldn't resist!

I love the color! ABM being as rare as it is, I got compliments on it regularly and while at shows many people walk right by the black, red, orange, yellow and silver Camaros they typically stop and take a look when they see mine. Then of course the aftermarket exhaust on my V8. The V6's are awesome, but there's nothing like the sound and power of a V8 IMO.

ABM is such a nice color. GM dropped the ball with those shoddy pictures they had of it. I've only ever seen two, MAYBE three, in person and I can't help but stare. Never seen a SS one though.

I like the fact you have some many options now as far as customizing goes. You can totally change the look of your car with different stripes, or a new style hood....the choices are outstanding.

I love my car too, I love the high windows and low visibility, it's like sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet. Coolest car I've ever owned. I love the way it handles and the power it has. I love how it turns heads, still see people turn and look on a daily basis.

Which is much better than the visibility in my full-sized conversion van.
I really like the visibility in this so much better. And is is also much more visible to others, get about 10 times more compliments.
Left work the other day, driving by museum, a group of school kids were at the crosswalk with chaperones and teachers - they were snapping pictures of the Camaro (even the chaperones) and pointing when car stopped at traffic light.

OP like the Hash Stripes and Hood Spear combo.

I personally think this is translates to a lot of vehicles but, I like the presence of the Camaro. It's that mix of raw force, that historically everyone is familiar with, and a dash of sophistication and refinements in places that many don't consider.

These aren't BMW's or Mercedes, whereas the opposite is true. It's the general acknowledgement that this car means business and you should take it seriously.

What we love is the 20.7 mpg and the money we save makes half a car payment. We have a 94 Z28 that get like 8 mpg but its just as fun to drive as our '10 1LT.
