Whipple Heat Extractor
Does anyone have pictures of the Whipple installed hood heat extractor on a 2014-2015 Camaro? I am trying to decide if I want to purchase theirs or modify the existing factory one.

I put a Whipple on a 2011 SS that had a ZL1 hood with the Carbon Fiber insert (YES your read that right the Carbon Fiber insert ). I did have to put the plastic scoop a bit to make it work not the carbon though. I would say you should as long as you cut where it would be needed and measure twice to cut one, you should be good.
I opened and closed the hood so many times before I got it right. So take your time if you decide to do it. Best of luck. Just a tip, maybe use some modeling clay to see where you need to cut so that way your not guessing. Thank you, Ricardo |

Did you ever install this extractor... I am wanting to know how it compares to the OEM... I currently have a CF extractor from G5.R... Getting ready for a LSA Conversion... I am looking for options.
