Rear rotors won't come off!! Help
I removed the brake caliper and the T30 screw on the rotor. For some reason the rotor will not come off. The e brake is not on. That's where I thought I was going wrong.

They can rust on, use force. A mallet works wonders.

A rubber hammer and some WD40 should be able to knock it loose.
Thank you, Ricardo |

I just did new rotors and pads myself. I'm sure a rubber mallet will work, but I used two bolts with nuts and washers through the holes where the calipers unbolt and it popped them right off.

I know this is a few months old now but a rubber mallet is the best solution.
I just did a rotors and pads on a '96 Silverado that was pretty rusty. I took my rubber mallet to them and and a few good hits and they were loose enough to pull off. |

This reminds me of when I worked at a ford dealership. we used a 3lb sledge to get the front rotors off of the 150s. They came off in chunks.
