cammed SS exhaust swap

Hey guys , i have a problem with the cops in my country , my car is very very loud and its cammed , so i have the slp loudmouth axle back , and kooks long tube headers with high glow cats and stock h pipe . if i swap the slp with the factory exhaust ( not NPP) will i need to retune the car?

Any advices on how to lower the sound? Yes i love my car and how it sounds at the moment . but the cops impounding my car .... Nah

Thanks in advance guys

I do not think the difference in flow restriction would require a retune.

The stock LS3 mufflers actually sounds quite good. A little raspy with a bit of a pop to them, but no drone at all and pretty mild until you romp on it. The L99 exhaust is waaay quieter because of the AFM stuff.

With the AFM deleted in my car , the exhaust wont make the car soud weird ? Since i got the valley plate and AFM stuff deleted from the car when i did the cam swap

If you replace the h pipe with a Magnaflow resonated x pipe, it'll tone down your exhaust quite a bit and its only 100 bucks. A local muffler shop can cut and weld it up for cheap too. If you want loud but not always loud, install some cut outs too. Then you can be loud only when you want to be loud. I had the resonated x pipe on my v6 and it toned it down a ton. I assume it would do the same on the v8. My car is loud as hell so I can't say lol

No tune is needed to switch back to stock exhaust, you can also add a resonated x-pipe to your stock setup to quiet it down as well, Part # is 11386.

Look into the Magnaflow Street Series Axle-back. I'm cammed with LT's, no cat's, and Magnaflow resonated x-pipe. It's pretty quite for having no cats so with cats I can imagining it being a lot quieter. Just a though in case you want an aftermarket exhaust. Before the cam, the car was quieter than stock just a lot deeper.
