Angry Wtf Is Wrong With My Car?

2011 Camaro 2SS LS3; mods cold air intake, longtube headers, high flow cats, dyno tune no VTC or anything like that. Today I was driving fine then I pulled up to a gas station and filled up. After I filled up I turned it on and the crank was weak and slow like it didn't want to turn on but it did. It says service stabilitrac all 3 traction control lights are on and THE TACH DOESN'T WORK. Neither on the HUD or dash. I turned it off right after to see if it would go away but this time when I cranked it, it was even weaker so I tapped the gas to help it turn over cause I didn't know if it would start or not and I didn't wanna risk getting stuck at the gas station. The power seemed to be there also on the drive home. I have had some weak starts before recently but not this much just like an extra half second cranking. When I got home I unplugged the battery and I'm gonna leave it unplugged over night to see if it goes back to normal. What do u guys think??

I haven't changed the battery and around 10K miles on the 2011 Camaro

Nah I haven't changed it but I don't think a battery would cause all that?

It would be a good place to start. Especially if it's still the stock battery. I mean weak starts are pretty tell tale of it dying. My '11 was acting similar with the factory battery, changed it a couple weeks ago. I've had my tach and speedometer completely fail to operate once as well back in March or so, but that only happened once and hasn't since.

I'd have to go with Synyster on this one. Have your battery checked. Knowing how dependent these cars are on electronics a failing battery can cause a host of goblins.... Good luck

A little early for battery failure. Still could be the problem, but maybe a poor connection issue. I replaced my battery at the 5 yr mark to be safe, but it was still cranking fine. Take it out and test it.

Well the battery is probably 5+ years old. Might be time for a new one.

Battery. mine did it at the track. didn't have hud since mine was a 2010. looking at my track videos, I could see my led marker lights flickering.

5yrs or less, battery is shot. no real indicators, they act like li-on batteries... just die

So why would a weak battery cause service stabilitrac and no tach movement? I would've thought it either doesn't turn on or it does

Voltage drop when cranking the starter. All the electronics require at least 10 volts or they shut off.

Watch the voltmeter when it's cranking slow, bet it drops like a rock.

"Service stabiltrac" comes on for a variety of ills, most having nothing to do with stabiltrac.
