Who here did the OM Breakin vs Hard Break In?

Alright, so seeing as how this car is my baby, i did the exact break in procedure that GM outlined. Then i realized through another thread that this apparently was not good for getting the rings to seat perfectly, hence more power would come out if your broke your car in hard. Well it was to late for me as my car has 1850 miles on it, but i was wondering how you guys broke in your cars.
I think Rolnslo did the GM break in like i did and when he dynod his car, it showed low numbers, 233 i think, Rolnslo, correct if im wrong. Me and my family have all noted that my v6, feels barely any different then my brothers 05 v6 stang.
Guys and gals, the purpose of this thread is to help you guys, if you havnt broken in your cars completely yet, go to the maintenance section and check out Darins thread on properly breaking in your car. This will get the most HP out of your car and is a technique that i wish i had seen sooner.
Anyways to give me hope, for those who had done the GM warrenty like myself, if you have dynod your car, post up your pulls. I would love to see if some have gotten the expected 260whp with the GM break in because then i wont be soo bummed out . I havnt gotten around to take my car out to get dynod since i had surgury, but will do as soon as i can drive my car again.
Please post your comments but dont insult me or anyone please, the purpose of this thread is to help out eachother with better techniques or what not

I push mine without exceeding 4000 rpm and not going to wide open throttle. Short bursts through three gears. I follow most of GM's recomendations.

Yep, followed the OM procedure and only pulled 236hp on the dyno. At least my gas mileage doesn't seem to be suffering, just my performance a bit.

I don't think you broke anything by breaking it in easy. Search for some other v6 dyno results. I think scrmng did 242rwhp stock (if I'm wrong, correct me), and I have a feeling he didn't baby it for breakin, so you're not that far off.

2LT here--I pretty much did the GM break-in. I did run it up to 5k a few times and varied the rpm's all the time since mines the manual 6-speed.

Since 1500 though I've run it through the paces a number of times. You guys ever drop the clutch on your V6's with the traction control off?
