Chevy 20% off msrp

Hello Camaro world!
I hope to join you guys soon. A local dealer had a great deal on a Camaro with the 20% off deal that GM was running. Unfortunately I missed it and the deal because it expired on the 30th. With that being said what is the chances that GM will bring back the 20% off before the end of the new year..? I only hope this because I would assume they would try to blast out the old body Camaro's by the new year?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they ran the 20% off sale after Christmas into the first two weeks of last January.

Just ask for it. Go in go through the process, Calculate 20% from the MSRP, and tell them you'll buy it for that. If they won't do it, leave your number and tell them to call you when they can.

Yup, they did. I know, because I almost bought one then.

I saw a Z/28 for 28% ($21k) off MSRP today. Unreal.

Just for future information, would I be able to combine both the 20% AND military pricing or is it one or the other? I'd love to get a 2016 or even '17 next black Friday sale if/when they have it and upgrade from a LS to SS but only if the price is right.

I got the 20% off msrp deal on black friday, and the only other discount you can use is GM card earnings if you have a GM credit card. I had 300 in earnings that they added to the deal.

So you can't also use a private offer?

I was able to use the 20% off MSRP, along with two other discounts I qualified for for a total of $9400 off on mine.

I got a Camaro with the 20% cash back during "Black November". I also qualified for private offer & conquest but neither of those stacked with the 20% off. The sales manager and I went through all possible incentive combinations in the system and nothing was allowed to stack with the 20% off except for the GM Card.

Was still allowed to do some good old-fashioned negotiating with the dealer though.

Also another thing annoying with the 20% is that it only applies on certain cars. The oldest 10% that have been sitting on the lot. You have to do a lot of searching if you want a specific car + 20% cash back. Might not be available for the 2016 Camaro this year or next.

Wanted to get a 1LE last year in December and couldn't find any in stock near me. Glad I was able to snag one this year!

Should be picking up a 2SS with 1LE soon. It was more than 20% off ($33195) I finally went into the dealership and the discounts had changed. After a review I left on Facebook they will honor the original price but I have to wait until they can get a 20% off coupon from GM and they will eat the difference to get the original quoted price. It's OK that I have to wait, I don't want to pick it up till next spring any way.

Ahh this is interesting, did not know this. This sounds like it'd be a chore. I mean how the hell would you know what qualifies but I guess you'd have to go into the dealer and see what they have or see if they can find something. My current '11 LS will be paid off end of Jan and I would love to upgrade to a new body style '16 but not sure if I want to take on car payments again next year. I also doubt my car will be worth much on trade in due to an accident I had when someone ran a yield and side swiped me fn up my bumper.

I went directly to Chevy site and click on the Black Friday event picture. It took me to a screen where I put in Camaro, ss, my zip code and a search radius in miles. It showed me everything within that range that qualified. Called the dealer to make sure was still there, then went and picked it up.

Got the 20% and was able to negotiate another $3400 off. Went from $44500 down to $32200.

It's worth the wait
