porting the intake and tb under boost worth it?????

would you pick up and hp porting the ls3 intake a tb in a boost application??

I'll be the lone nay sayer in this... Yes, anything helps but in the grand scheme...

I made 1330 RWHP with the stock intake and throttle body. With a turbo or twins blowing through it's not that big a deal and you can spend effort and money elsewhere for more gain per dollar. Just my opinion...

As above, no doubt there are gains to be had.

But if you're paying someone to do it....that money could be better spent elsewhere.

if you like torturing yourself and have free time to burn and do all the work yourself, by all means work away though

Your not alone.

Years ago I ran a back to back test on a Blow through Supercharged engine producing 875 RWHP Aprox 1000 Crank.

Tested a 102 mm against a 75 mm TB, ZERO, NADA, NO DICE.

Overlay the Graphs and could not tell them apart.

The 75 MM TB had way better driveability so the customer stayed with it.

On the Other hand a PD or Draw through can benefit huge from air intake improvements before the blower.
