Really would love to tune my L99 but don't want to void the factory warranty.. What could I do???

I think you could get a range device to tune out the AFM without voiding the warranty. The usual things like a CAI, catback exhaust and catch can are some things you can do without any major warranty issues. Some dealers are tougher than others though.

we have 2 GM cars and 1 truck with tunes different then factory and we are not having any problems with 3 different dealers on any thing warranty.

Get a diablo sport trinity ...it won't show up as being flashed!!

Yes, it will. Our ecu's have a flash counter. Even if you flashed a stock tune again, it would trip the counter and a dealer would be able to see that the car has been flashed again. There is no way to tune the car without the dealer knowing

Tuning will not void your warranty, however, if you have a catastrophic drive train failure that is not due to a known issue you will be footing the bill. Besides something like that your warranty will not be effected.

Couldn't one just tune another module and replace the stock one?

How does the computer know it has been replaced? i would think all it would know is that it was unplugged.

Wish they would just come up with a way to get around the counter. Like have only certain files modified without flashing the entire ecu
