Z/28 Exhaust

Got 2/3s of the project parts just need to find a cheap Z exhaust for my 2010 SS/RS LS3. Not looking for gobs of power like LTs but love the fact it's factory parts and will lock pretty stock.....

I don't have the heat shields though and I'm thinking about wrapping them but afraid I'll loose the factory look.

Don't wrap them bro! Leave them as is. I think they look better that way.

And the point is?? Why not just get shorty headers and a nice Catback. You would gain more performance at a cheaper price

The Z exhaust is the same as the ZL1 and 1LE Dual Mode but it's bigger diameter piping like 2 3/4 vs 2 1/2 of the SS, 1LE, and the ZL1

Buy the factory heat shields for the manifolds ,there very important to have. They will keep the manifold hotter for increased gas flow and save your plug wires and near by plastics and harnesses from melting
