Pilot Super Sports?
I can't seem to find anyone who has these in stock anywhere...
275/35/20 and 245/40/20 are like unicorns!

Give it a while. Given the fact that these are OEM sizes, many tire choices will be available soon.

Yep, national backorder. May be replacing them.
Question... why are you set on the Michelins? Have you considered something like the Continental DW or Bridgestone RE050A? --kC |

The pilot super sports are the best. And my dad has worked for Goodyear most of my life. lol. But they really are better.

I have heard nothing but good things around the PSS. Both on track and for great all around driving tires. I am not familiar with the specific tires you outline above... how do they compare to the PSS? I can see the prices are a lot cheaper.

Multiple tests on numerous sites in regards to the 3 tires mentioned above. Pilot SS - Conti DW - RE050A... Pilots are always on top. Conti tends to float around 3rd and the RE050A's hang out at the bottom. These tests are of course subjective to some degree depending on driver preference. Everyones Butt-o-Meter is different.

PSS woke up the handling on my Z. Also rode better with less bump steer.

I was thinking about getting them. But, I think they have been out for over 5 years. Does anyone think they are coming out with a new version? I don't want to buy them and have it come out 6 months later.

I talked to Michelin, they are just out of production currently. They will start making them again in Feb/March.
