Question Threw a code today

Had the "engine light" come on today and went to Auto Zone to find out what it was. The tech ( ? ) put the computer thing on it and said it was a code for an Air sensor delay. He was kind enough to clear it for me and said that sometimes the weather has a lot to do with it. I do know that the temp here in NJ changed like crazy from yesterday to today. Need some input on this as I am not up on this to much.

Did you get the code? That will help more as the code we can pull up and look at the troubleshooting.

Go on amazon and spend the best 20 bucks of your life. An obd reader. It'll tell you the codes and let you clear them.

I actually run a 10" tablet in my car and use Torque Pro to monitor all kinds of stuff, temperatures, sensor readings, etc. I also monitor my timing advance to see if I'm getting any pre-detonation, and use that info to stay away from gas stations with sub-par fuel.

I'm planning on building a 'carputer' with a touchscreen in a spare visor, and the brain in the dash, and will also run auxiliary gauges there for performance days. This will use the OBD port as well.

How do you have this all set up!? I would love to do something like that it sounds bad ass. Any pics?

The Tablet just mounts to the right of my shifter with a custom-made bracket, but the whole carputer idea is still in the works. I've got the spare visors and the display, I just have to order the brain components and put it all together

Don't worry, I'll definitely be posting when I'm done with it! Though I'm easily distracted by a hundred other mods, so I bounce around a bit, but I promise you I'll get to it.

Have you addded a cold air intake or is it stock? Is it factory tuned and factory filter? Could be dirty filter or mass air parameters incorrect in tune (if not factory tuned) could just need mass air cleaned.
