New to the site. SS1 or trade for ZL1!

I have a question. New to the site but I have a 2012 1ss with 60000 miles on it I got about 6months ago. I have been looking into getting it super charged, body kit, etc. but from what I have seen I can get a ZL1 for about 8,000 more than I'm paying for my SS. Should I just trade my SS in a ZL1 its comes with everything I want on my SS for basically the same price???

Trade in on a 2012 1ss would be around $17500. I find it hard to believe there is a ZL1 worth getting out there for $25500.... I had my eye on a grey 2012 ZL1 with the silver wheels at a local lot with only 1300 miles last week. They are asking $41999, but I just can't see myself dropping the cash to make up the difference after selling or trading my car.
