Ground Effects Kit question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

If I order the ground effects kit will they paint it the same color of the car or do I have to ask them to paint it or does it only come in that gray color and I have to repaint the whole car?

Also, with the RS package do you think it possible to ask the dealer to do the whole RS package, but instead of the RS spoiler add the High-Wing? I mean it can't be that hard to just not put it on.

The GM body kit comes unpainted. You can ask your dealer to paint it for you when it arrives, but that will be an extra cost that they will have to give you.

Not sure about the wing yet... I don't think it is available just yet?

GFX kit is painted (at additional cost) prior to installation or you can install it in its original color.

High profile spoiler is not available.

GFX come in "dark argent metallic."

Dealer can paint them. GM says warranty on the GFX is void if you paint them (which I think is pure BS).

Replacing the high wing spoiler in the RS package "I believe" is a no go. You can get the high wing (when it's available) and replace it with the stock. However, you are going to have the issue of the spoiler bolt holes. You might need to do some work....or just see if you can somehow swing a spoiler delete or something. It would be nice if you could order the RS and spoiler....might not work
