Buy a Dashlogic or Not?
I had a dashlogic in my 13 ZL1 and when I sold the car the guy wanted it so it went with the car. I did not have any problems with it at all and I have read where some have. I want one for my 15 ZL now and I know that Auto Meter bought that company. What I want to know is has anyone bought one lately and are they better or are there still problems with them?

The unit has its issues but it's still well worth it IMHO....
There is a large topic here in the ZL1 forums about this dashlogic unit. ..search for it as it has some good info.

I started that thread but rather than going back to it I wanted to find out if anyone had bought one recently and if they were better now since they were bought out. I am going to go ahead and get one so I hope it works as well as the last one I had. |

I'm torn. I'm not sure if I should buy the dashlogic. It seems to have mixed reviews or buy the Aeroforce interceptor guage.

The problems with the '13s comes if you don't want to display to the HUD, then you are limited to just DIC displays. If you want display to the HUD then you'll be OK with DIC & Mylink displays. I chose not to display to the HUD because I want to see the factory RPM & speed graphic display... if you choose Dashlogic HUD displays you loose the factory display.

How many parameters can be displayed at the same time in dic and mylink. I was looking into the dual interceptor guage package. I want to see the factory hud as well.

8 different DIC screens can be displayed with 2 lines of displays per screen. Basically you can fit 2 parms/PIDs per line with minimal text with each for a total of 4 parms per screen. It's not bad. Mylinks displays won't work with the HUD turned off.

They are sooooo much better than aeroforce it isn't even funny. That shouldn't even be a discussion.

Dashlogic has its issues but when it's working correctly it's awesome do I wish it was better yes, would I have still bought it after I know what I do about it yes, because I didn't want Guage pods or really to many tell tell devices to hint to whats under the hood, if you don't mind multiple gauges or guage pods I would recommend that but if you don't I would go dashlogics

I love mine. I had it on last weekend on the road course so I could monitor Knock Retard and SC Air Temp on the HUD. A lot easier to run hard down that long front straightaway if you know your not hurting it.
