Exhaust question

Ok guys which catback do yall think will be louder with american racing headers on a ls3...magnaflows 3 in. competion series or the 3 in. flowmaster 409S american thunder system? I know the competion series is a muffler delete but it also has a resonated x pipe while the flowmaster doesnt have a resonated x pipe it has mufflers. Just trying to decide on what to do.

Those exhausts are nasty dude. How's the performance?

Edit: Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does the American Thunder system include headers? Or do I buy them separate?

the flowmasters will be slightly louder but the magnaflows sound way better, substatially better build quality, much better fit and finish. the 3" competion series is a true x-pipe with there competion series mufflers. they prototyped it on my car. it's the blue one on there website. since then i've added the dynatech supermaxx headers and high flow cats, magnacharger tvs 2300, roto-fab cai and a custom tune. it really made a huge difference in the sound when i put the long tubes on. take a close look at dynatech if you havent purchased your long tubes. they have been in business a long time and have great customer support. trust me it's a winning combo.

Based off appearance alone, which one “looks” faster… IMO I know which one sounds better and that would be Magnaflow…

Flowmaster:

Magnaflow Street series:

Magnaflow competition series:
