PYPES PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SGF53: PYPES PYPE-BOMB AXLE BACK EXHAUST
I have a 2014 Camaro SS, I did a resonator delete with a H-pipe and muffler delete. I'm thinking of buying the Pypes Pype Bomb axle back to add on. I can't do headers for another year or so. Does anyone know if its worth buying the pype bomb or just staying with straight pipes? Will I notice much of a difference? I do get some back firing and popping sounds now. Not often. I do love the muffler delete sound.

I heard the Pype bomb on an L99 and it sounded good. Not a lot of noise, but not terrible. Looked really nice in black, also. You won't notice a difference aside from maybe a little tone. If you love the !muffler, then stick with it until you get LT's.
FWIW, I have the Pypes catback and really like it. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I've always been a fan of pypes. My buddy has pypes bomb exhaust. I like the sound of it. Plus, you can't beat their prices.

Their price is what got me, but their fitment was horrible. I was warned and should have listened. If you want mine you can buy them. I will sell them for $100 + shipping.
I am going to go with the Bassanni muffler delete instead. |

Can you post some pictures of yours? What do you mean about the fitment was horrible? Did you weld yours on or bolt them on? I may be interested. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mine are just bolted on.
The way their pipes are bent, it does not fit to the stock pipe verry well. Now if I were willing to do some cutting and welding I can make anything fit. Just expected it to fit right from the factory. |

I have the pypes bomb axle back and like them. I went straight from the stock mufflers to these so can't tell if there's much difference from straight pipes. There is still drone, but centered at 2k rpm so you can avoid that while cruising. Again, not sure when the drone hits with just straight pipes.
They fit fine, just took a little finagling to get them perfectly centered. May have to give the hanger a little love tap with a hammer and voila they fit perfect. Although I do miss the angle that was cut on the factory tips to sit flush with the bumper. The Sound is perfect to me. No one will doubt if it's a v8 or not anymore. |

Thanks. I had the drone, but the range device took care of it. I engine stays in 8 cylinder mode all the time now.

Anyone have this with long tubes? I currently have LTs, high flow cats and x-pipe but no muffler as such (straight pipes and chambered pipes along tunnel) and it's a bit loud and has the drone at 2K ... wondering if these will help
