yesterday my boss tells me shes riding with me in the morning.

Everyone is giving her a bad time about wanting to ride with me because I can get scary driving (they all know what I like to do & they give me a bad time about it, of course I have been driving my husbands vette to work over mine lol)

So to make things even better this morning I grab my racing helmet & when I asked her this morning if She was riding with me she said YES. So I handed her the helmet lol. She ust laughs.

When we got back to base she gets out & walked in the kitchen & says " I AM BACK & STILL ALIVE" of course everyone started laughing lol.

Today was a good day at work lol.

just to let you gus know, I work with 32 women & 1 man (food service at a school district) the gals dont understand the racing & the car thing, a few of them sort of do but most dont get it. Plus I am one of the 3 or 4 youngest in the group. (I think there is a couple kids younger than I am but not many) so you are talking most of these guys are grandmas already lol.

They also dont approve of what I do for fun.

They're just old and decrepit then. Fun in different to everyone, and your ideas of fun won't always be like theirs.

I think if you don't mind, that I'm going to keep a spare racing helmet in my back seat for when people want to ride with me just to scare them into thinking I drive horribly/scary..

lolI use to just keep mine in my iroc when I raced it lol.

hehe, well my nickname is "The Getaway Driver" because I like taking freeway onramps in a spirited manner, and offramps as well, just like they taught me at Skip Barber.
