Stitching on steering wheel loose after less than 2 weeks of ownership
Hi guys,
My prior car was 15 years old and 8 of those in my possession. It also had a leather steering wheel with thread stitching it together, much like that of my brand new 2016 Camaro SS. After 15 years there was not a single loose hoop. After less than 2 weeks of ownership, one of stitching hoops on the steering wheel came loose and hangs out about half an inch. I have even extended bumper-to-bumper warranty. Should I take it up with the dealer and have the steering wheel replaced? Thanks! |

What does and extended warranty have to do with anything? This will be covered under the normal B2B warranty and yes bring it in for them to change before it gets worse.

Ah man, that stinks. Definitely take it to the dealer.

Yeah sounds like one of those first year type issues. They'll probably have to correct some manufacturing process of it happens enough. Sucks man. They should be able to fix it though. Might have to order that specific color.
