Hello all,

I am new to the group. I recently purchased a 2012 SS with 69,895 miles on it. It was a one owner vehicle. He drove it a lot, but told me that he was not hard on her. He was ready to move on because of the gas mileage. It's not my primary vehicle, so I don't drive it every day. She's actually been sitting for the past week and a half because of a snow storm. She runs great, but I was wondering what should I have checked being that it has more than an average 2012.

The only thing that I'm concerned about is the slow start, but it seems that's normal for the SS models.

My 12 doesn't have a "slow start"

Might want to see if the original owner ever changed the battery.

Mine turns over kinda slow also(2010). But still has orig delco batt.
Gotta stop spending so much on mods to get a new one

Your first mod should be long tube headers big difference Texas speed is a great deal

i would change the oil and filter trans fluid and filter and coolant make sure hoses and belts are good, then you would have a good baseline to start from just me,
