volume turn up when i accelerate ( normal )?

as it said on top, i noticed it 2 years ago at least but didnt bother me, now after asking a friend. he says maybe my battery is dying? i know it makes no sense, i couldnt find any thread using the search bar. with that begin said do you guys notice it 2 or just me

That's Speed Compensated Volume, and it's in the radio settings.

GM has used that for quite a while, even my '97 GMC Southern Comfort had it. It is weird if you don't realize it's activated...

Ya, the first car I have had with speed/volume change has been my camaro and I love it!

That's one thing cool about the speed volume increase, had it in my 2000 Malibu and 2012 Cruze, always had it set to increase volume with increase of speed. Windows down on nice days it was nice to be able to enjoy hearing the radio without the volume being too loud every time I slowed down or came to a stop.

Funny you mention it. After driving the car almost two years I just noticed the auto volume adjust the other day. Then again I rarely listen to the stereo, too busy listening to the supercharger and exhaust.

It is described on page 7-6 in my 2014 Camaro user manual in the Infotainment section. Since you have a 2013 it may be in a similar section.
