"A Faster Horse" The History of the Mustang (Netflix )
The above documentary premiered on Netflix this month and it's a fascinating look on the process of creating the 2015 Mustang which went on sale on the 50th anniversary of the car's birth. It also details other aspects of the history of the Ford Motor Co. as well as highlighting the creation of the first Mustang. I think without that car there would be no Camaro.

Competition creates greatness. Mustang may have been the first but they most certainly aren't the last. If not for the success of the early decade chargers we may not have had a more recent generation of mustang or camaro like we do today. Gotta tip your hat's to all three the charger argueably revived the muscle car interest most recently then mustang and camaro took it to whole new levels.

This documentary shows you how hard, problematic and how much work goes in building a new car. It makes you understand and appreciate all the engineering that went into it.

I watched it. Thought it was good. Development of the new car with some good history of the beginning of the car. I enjoy watching the process they go through for development. It's also a nice reminder of some of the things we tend to forget(for me it was dealing with subvendors). It is a pretty invovled dance that has to be done to get these cars out.

There are only a handful of mustangs I would own, generic gt's not being in that handful. I've pretty much never been a mustang fan besides a few exceptions, but after seeing this documentary I have a whole new respect for the new mustangs. Plus, personally I think they look great. Especially in my rear view
