Who was the genius who thought of this?

Had a few hours to burn in between loads and stopped by to check on The BEEast. For some reason his battery was dead. Dont understand why. So I had to try to jump him with my other car.

Who is the genious who thought it was best to put the flippin battery in the flippin trunk and make an owner do all this flippin work to flippin jump the flippin car?!? WHO?????

Rant over.

There are remote posts under the hood.

In the trunk is mild compared to some cars that have them in the inner fender, or under the drivers or passengers seats, or even Ford diesel E vans that have one of them under the van.

Hopefully there will not be a next time, but if there is there is a positive post that is connected to your battery under the hood that is located in front of your brake fluid bottle. I have used that to jump cars a couple of times. Connected the ground to the stud that the air box was connected to. I also carry a jumper box in case I need it. I was told the reason for putting the battery in the trunk was weight distribution

The battery in the trunk is a great idea. Saves space in the engine bay. There is a positive post and a ground post (actually two) in the engine bay. No need to access the battery in the trunk other than to change it if need be.

I guess even geniuses need to learn about the cars they bought.

Owners Manual. Read it, learn it, remember it.

Makes for less work next time.

Pretty much the entire chassis of the car, but any good metal point on the engine will work.

Ground can be just about anywhere metal. I have grounded up by the radiators on previous cars before. Worked like a charm.

Like other's have said, it was probably the same genius who put a positive terminal under the hood, along with negative posts (though you can ground to almost anything that's bare metal.)

Good job buddy.
