Knock Sensors covered under Power train warranty?
Hello everyone,
I recently was diagnosed for a bad knock sensor on my 2012 2LT/RS, and the dealer told me that it was not covered under my power train warranty. When I asked them if it relates to the engine, they responded stating that this is under emissions, and therefore not covered. Anyone have any similar experiences/suggestions? |

Emission warranty longer than power train warranty, I thought. Should be like 10yr/90-100K on emissions.
I could be wrong though

Its not covered under powertrain. It is an emission part but thats only as 2/24 warranty not the 8/80 in some select emission parts (ie. converters, ECM).
