my original lasted over 5 years, so I went back with another from the dealership parts dept. Think it was around $160

My original lasted 6 years. I got a Sears replacement for $220.00. Never paid so much for a battery.

I have had 2 original batteries in the past 6 months put in my '11. Each went bad in 3 months almost to the day and the car would not start if it sat more than a day. Finally broke down and put in an Optima, no problems since.

Optima doesn't make a direct fitment replacement. Which Optima are you using?

Do you mean two OEM batteries?

Lots of brands, but only three makers in the US.

Delphi, Exide and Johnson Controls. That's it.

My original lasted six years, just replaced it with a Bosch (Exide) from Pep Boys. Chose it because it is a glass mat. So far so good.

I went with the stock AC Delco for a replacement for my 2011 SS LS3. I got it at my local chevy parts department. It is vented and obviously fits and has the right CCA. I vote for the stock replacement.
