ZL1 strut brace on SS?

Has anyone used the ZL1 strut brace on a non-ZL1? It looks like the ZL1 hood is a little taller than an SS and I wonder if the ZL1 strut brace will fit under the SS hood?

Not sure about the zl1 brace but the 1le will. I know they are not the same, appearance wise, but it's an option.

I'm not sure if the 1LE bar is any different than the one I have on it. I'm looking to get a bar that will fit over an LSA supercharger. I'm putting spacers on my bar to use it for now, but I'm just looking for any other options.

Any other options than the spacers?

It's all personal taste and style, but getting some machined spacers or whatever matches your strut brace finish is probably the best option. There are some aftermarket options, but on my 1le (should be same as your vert), in my eyes, nothing looks as good as the factory one. Aftermarkets just aren't my personal style. You can also go the route of having a shop custom measure/fab your factory one to clear the SC, but I'm assuming it will be a lot of money.

BMR makes a strut tower brace for the 2011-2015 Camaro. From the photos it looks like it might provide a wee bit more clearance than the stock brace.

Hotchkis also makes a brace for the Camaro that will clear a Magnuson blower.

I agree.....just installed the 1LE brace on my ss. Looks great and factory fit.

OP was asking about the ZL1 brace, which is slightly different to clear the LSA supercharger, and it requires a slight cowl to clear the brace. The vert brace is the same as the 1LE brace. It clears my Maggie, but won't clear an LSA blower.

I got my ss/1le brace to fit over the ZL1 charger, you just have to give it 2 washers under each bolt.
