Soooo...Nitrous..Whats good?

Never played with it. Seen it in action. Whats a good overall kit for a DD 1Le with the occasional spirited driving?

Ask nitrous outlet. Should cost 1000$ for a great street kit up to 175-200hp with everything you need. Many brands outhere.

They all make good kits now, just make sure you get the pressure safety switches. Also check this out for the tune, you can flip a switch and have a nitrous tune.

1000 is a bit cheap if he wants to do it right

The guys at nitrous outlet are awesome. Theyve never given me an excuse to go elsewhere. Look up the free nitrous resistor mod before spending money on a retard box. Both work great, but one of them only costs about 20cents

It all depends on how much power you want to make. Just call the companies and tell them what you want to do and they will know what you need to do it correctly.

Get a dedicated fuel cell and you, won't need to worry about injectors and fuel pump. Be cheaper in long run anyways.

No need for extra injector with a wet kit. Im not sure what a stock pump can support.

This^. The more you cheap out the less convenient and less safe it will be to use. On a 4th gen f-body or other cheaper/older car, sure. But on a newer 30-40k+ car I'd want it to be safer, cleaner looking, and more convenient to use. I love having stuff like a remote bottle opener and other crap I don't really need but is really nice to have.

If you are stock engine then you can do a 150 on the stock fuel system (100 shot max if youre cammed). Any more than that and a standalone fuel cell is the way to go.

Well I dont see how you can get past 1000 so much for a street kit. Break it down for me pls. Had mine under 1000$
-kit with 300hp nozzle
-Bottle heater and rack
-FPSS
-Spark plugs
-timing tuner
-pressure gauge on the bottle.
-wide band or spark plug tuning
-nitrous purge (no need)

More money is for fancy setup, not safer.

Ran Nitrous back before many were probably born on this Board. Yeah old here lol. Open Bottle Push button and hope it held together lol Things have come along long way which is a great thing.
Comparing Apples to Oranges here because this is a system built for 1/2 Mile runs on a built for Nitrous 416 Went with Dual Bottle Setup with all the Safety Backups, Bells and Whistles. This will just show the prices of some of those Needed Items, Safety Features Bells and Whistles. Yeah Street Kits can be had under $1000 but OP don't forget to add in price of labor( if not installing yourself), retuning, filling bottle.
