HELP!!Rocker panel/Bottom of side skirt damaged!! Could it be from last Oil change???

Hi everyone I am new to this forum thank you all first for any feedback!!!
So I have purchased my 2015 1ss about 6 months (LOVE IT) and 2 months ago I took the car to get an oil change & state inspection from the Chev dealership where I purchased the car. Yesterday when I got out of the car I accidentally drop my keys on the ground, so I bend down to pick up then I thought I take a look at the bottom of the car just to kinda making sure that everything is ok. Then all of the sudden the first place I've looked and saw this dent/crack on bottom of the rocker panel located behind front left tire (Only this place not anywhere else). I have attached pictures so you guys can see. The location of the damage is actually where the lift point could be when the car was lifted and the only time I have ever gotten this car lifted was two months ago at the dealership (I dropped off the car at the dealership and picked it up later that day). I wouldn't want to point fingers at them since it has been a while and it was my careless mistake for not having to check everything after dealerships provided their work. Any advise in how to go about this and how to fix this dent/crack since I may have to claim responsibility for this (I have not contacted dealership just yet).

That look too forward to be a lift pad location for a lift. Also are you sure they didn't use a drive on ramp, because that wont damage that area.

So if not lift pad what could it be that pressed in and damaged that area.
I honestly don't know how oil change was done by the dealership since I wasn't at the service bay to see it.

Not everyone is going to take the time to lift it properly, it looks exactly like a lift pad put in the wrong spot to me.

The rocker panel covers are just thin plastic and deform/dent/crack fairly easily. One thread was opened by someone that dented his in that area and was worried that he would need to replace it. A short while later after he was told they are plastic he noticed the dent popped out by itself.
The rocker panel covers can be removed fairly easily ... but if not done very carefully the retaining clips can break off. There are some threads in the forum on safe removal (extreme care is needed). On my conversion van the running boards use to get a crack sometimes on the underside and I would patch the inside with either bondo or epoxy which made it stronger than original.

Thank you all for your feedback. I will contact my dealership soon and see what they say about this first. Also on that last last oil change a scheduled maintenance was provided as well. I think that most likely will have to get the car lifted since tire rotation was provided.
