AGP TT kit for higher milage SS

Im looking at possibly purchasing one of the AGP twin turbo kits for my SS. This car is my DD and has a little over 90k miles. Hopefully some of the knowledgeable members on here can tell me if that kit will be too hard on my older engine or not. Thanks!

As long as the car was well maintained, mileage should have very little to no effect.

Alright thanks! I've done oil changes around 3-3.5k since Ive had it and theres almost 0 oil consumption so I think its in pretty decent shape. I'm not looking for a monster but I would like a good jump in power while still keeping it reliable.

As long as compression and leak down are good, no reason to shy away modding a high mileage car.

Horsepower will break its weakest link, so don't expect anything to not go wrong once you start modding. But as a whole the kit will be a better purchase over some of your other options, in terms of "stress". There are a bunch of high milage FI members here, with no issues.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. I only plan on running around 7-8 psi so I don't think that will push it too far. My car is an L99 car and I have issue trusting the AFM lifters so I will probably end up pulling heads and replacing those along with valve springs/pushrods for possibly doing a cam later on. (for lope)

If your going to do all that, may as well do the trunion upgrade, wont get you any more power, but it will quiet things down, and safeguard things a bit.

Like unreal said do a compression and leak down test, then if that checks out you are good, and I would probably recommend to do a zl1 fuel pump vs bap when you select your kit since you have over 90k on your current pump, and I will warn you you will have one regret if you end up with the agp kit, and that is why didn't I do this about 90 thousand miles ago.
