Bought a CTF 2012 ZL1
Picked up my second ZL1 after selling my first one over a year ago. After running the VIN i realized there was something different about the vin sequence compared to my first. Did some research and found out it was a pre-production car (#41) built on 12/22/11. It was in GM's hands for about 6 months and 4k miles, then shipped to Canada. It was there for a couple years and made its way back to Michigan and thats where I got it from. Loving it!

Great looking car! I am like you I sold the 13 I ordered then waited about 3 months and bought another 13 model. After the supercharger and the rear end went bad on it I sold it. I could not stay out of them so I bought a new 15 and I am really liking this car! I wanted the recaro's bad to so I am happy now.

I had a 13zl1, and traded it for a 14zl1. The main reason was for the recaros. The seats seem to hold you in well around turns, and very comfortable, even while wearing my glock 43...lol

Very nice ZL1. Don't sell it this time. Are your quarter mile times with your current or previous car?

Suppose I could just post it for private sale and see what happens with it.

Someone, somewhere, is looking for your setup. If you put it out there now, it won't stress you out as much, as if you were to buy a ZL1 and then stress because you haven't sold the SS yet.

Thanks. No real plans for this one, but I'm sure I won't be able to leave it completely alone

Definitely better. I have had both. I am more comfortable with the Recaros (2 1/2 hrs driving per day), and they fit me much better. For me, the Recaros really make the car.
