Where do I stop??

So here's the deal the last time my car was on the dyno it put down a good number 638rwhp (not back for an L99 100% stock engine) My injector duty cycle was only at 53% so my question is should I raise the boost until I'm at say 70-80% duty cycle and call it good
let me know your thoughts, my list of mods are in my sig.

That would probably be in the 850ish range. Not only will the motor not like that, you are already at the limits of the factory transmission. Can't go much farther without touching that.

Well I'll be honest I'm one of the guys that built a 6L80. The trans was just gone through less then a month ago. It has all good parts and "should" hold the power time will tell..

How about a turbo cam and replace the lifters. And raise the boost a bit

I could be wrong, but ultimately the outcome would be the same more power then some parts can handle. That being the case why spend the money on the cam swap?

The afm lifters aren't the greatest, I would personally swap them if you're raising boost even more. But thats just me. And it doesn't take but a couple hours to do a cam swap anyways. That's why I was suggesting it. Plus it would give you the opportunity to install head studs or arp head bolts

The L99 valve train is the weak link. By doing the complete cam kit you could have a broader power band and you could safely raise your rpm to 6800.

Posted this in the Tune Section where you ask the same question:

IDC is only part of your limitation to the final equation. Usually, the dual fuel pump will limit you before the bigger injectors you have. And this is only a suggestion - from my research, a stock LS3 is good for 700-750bhp. You have a L99, so I'd presume a bit less with that, and with your 638rwhp, that amounts to 751bhp. IMO, you're riding on the edge right now. Do what you want, but a stocker, when pushed, will only hold so much power, for so long, until something gives... just my simple two cents worth.
