Exclamation z28 Rear Diffuser

Got the diffuser from G5, and had lot's of issues with the fitment. Not sure if I'd recommend the diffuser unless you want to bring out the dremel, and a good amount of work.

Either way, I got it all sorted out and, then out to my painter. Here is a quick look. I thought you z/28 guys would like the finished job!

Just curious about the issues (specifics if possible). I was a few clicks away from ordering the CF Z/28 diffuser. Thanks!!

I wasn't a big fan of the "all" carbon look. It's just a personal preference.

The G5 diffuser has the tab's that don't fit as they should in the bumper. Some of them needed some material removed, and since it's carbon it's a mess. Each tab was different, and there are like 25 of them.

Then moving down the diffuser, some extra epoxy build up caused the fitment not to sit right...Basically it's a lot of trial and error. For the look the carbon is awesome looking, but for fitment purposes, I wish that I would have gone OEM.

To properly install the rear diffuser you need to take the bumper off the car. We had a lot of customers trying to install while still on the car. With the bumper on the car you can not get enough flex out of the bumper to properly install the carbon diffuser.

So has my diffuser been shipped that I ordered/paid for on 18Feb from "in stock" inventory? And before you say it again, I know it is fitted before shipping. So after over 2 months did it get fitted and shipped? The vendor informed me that they heard yesterday that is was being shipped but I have yet again not heard back from your company which I did include in the email asking for an update.... Standing by for the answer since you obviously have time to post on the forums I'd expect you'd have more time to respond to paying customers who have been waiting for OVER 2 months. Thanks
