Trans temp low the last few days
So like the title says, my trans temp has been running on the low side the last few days. Now I know that running cooler is good, but this is a considerable difference. I usually run just south of 180 degrees cruising on the interstate. The last few days I've been running in the 120 degree range. Weather hasn't changed much, so idk. Is this something I should get looked at or be extremely happy? I wouldn't think a thing of it except it's not normal for what I've been experiencing.

Hard to understand why you'd get a 60 degree swing if ambient temps and other conditions were similar to before. Maybe a faulty gauge? Mine is in the 180 range too.

Thermostat stuck open or bad temp sending unit.

I have an auto and I run about 190 or so around town but it takes a long time to get there. About 180 on the highway. OP is your car auto or manual? Too low of temps with an auto will increase pressures which may not be good.
