Cut outs question

For the people who buy and install cut outs...

Where do you install cut outs? Why?

Right after LTs? For a louder sound?

Or somewhere before your axle back? Just for a different tone/sound rather than volume?

I know to expect a lot of different answers, which begs the question. Thanks!!

I have qtp elect cutouts. I also have lt headers no cats xpipe and then magnaflow mufflers.

I put the 2 elect cutouts just after the rear axle where the pipes 45' that way most of the exhaust goes out the back of the car leaving the inside not crazy loud. But it is obnoxious loud outside of the car. When the cutouts are closed it sounds like a healthy crammed Camaro that is 100% daily drivable.
