I made over 600rwhp with the prc 285 heads. This was on a resleeved ls2. 454 cubes. A 247/263 113+3 .688 lift cam. It ran strong.

And what would that have gotten me? I already knew Hennessey was suspect.... I liked the car, I liked the color of the car... what would a google search done for me? Im not complaining about having to fix my motor.. most LS7's will have to go through this at some point.

i have 4 of those blocks all but one has number 7 sleeve cracked and the alum behind is also cracked

Well, I bit the bullet... Doing a rebuild and upgrade.
LS7 Block Sleeved with Darton Sleeves Trick Flow Gen X 260 Heads JHR Custom Grind Cam Wiseco Drop in LS7 Pistons Already have the MSD Atomic intake Looking to get about 615 HP 570 TQ to the wheels. Will update when the project is done. |
