Anyone done their 1st oil change yet? 1K MILES? RAMPS?
JUST CURIOUS TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS DONE THEIR FIRST OIL CHANGE YET AT AROUND 1K MILES ON THE 6TH GEN TO DROP THE FACTORY FILL AND THROW IN SOME GOOD STUFF.
ALSO, FOR THOSE WITH THE FRONT FACIA EXTENSION INSTALLED, HOW HAS THAT BEEN WHEN DEALING WITH RAMPS? |

I have ~2700 miles on mine and just had the oil changed at my dealer under the 2 Free Oil Changes it comes with. I had them just fill it with the DEXOS-1 it's supposed to be using and didn't ask for anything specific.
Same with the rear diff fluid I had them change out post track day. I don't have the front fascia extension, so I can't help there. |

Just had mine done at 850 miles while it was in for a recall check. Get the break in bits outta there.
With the fascia extension.....long race ramps. 72" maybe?

Did mine at 500 miles. Used my buddies aluminum race ramps. Very easy oil change, except for waiting for the oil to all drain out. Go have a beer while it drains..lol

Its Here! Finally came home on 3-31-16! Red Hot 2SS,6 Speed, NPP, MRC, Adrenaline Red interior, Silver Rally Stripes, NAV, Sunroof, 56W Split Spoke Wheels, Body color Hood vents, Body color Splash Guards and winter protection package. Did mine twice already. Once at 500 Miles and the second at 3000 Miles just to be safe. Now I'll follow the 5K Mile rule. I got 4 for free from my dealer so mind as well use them.

First oil change was at 750 mi... I may do a second at 3K... I might be over cautious but better safe then sorry. On another note before owning this one all my previous cars I did the first at 3k and the rest around 5K and I actually owned a 5th gen.

first at 2844. rear diff soon as well.
no experience with the extension yet though...just got the zl1 addons though, so may be goin with a lift for that..
