Gas Cap door "?" ...DefWorx Fuel Door Install & Review

I just got my ZL1 last month. Love it.
don't want to do too much to change it, but the gas cap door bugs because it's not centered and fits to one side.
Is there a cool Black or CF door?
Is there a way to center the stock door.

2014 Stock, but sounds like a beast on steroids.

The door just slides, that's how you take it off. If it really bugs you that much just put a line of silicone inside where it slides across the track after centering it.

Very very small allen wrench and then it slides. That's how mine was when I replaced it. In fact it was done at one of the Camarofests and nobody had one that small so we just drilled it out and glued it.

Just looked at a YouTube about putting on a custom door that attaches to the OE door hinge.
It just popped off with some gentle pressure.
Not sure if that's what I want to do.
Wanted to see if it was a problem.
I've seen them here and they all seem centered with even gap all around.

On my 2013 ZL1, the gas cap door cover slides off once you lift up on a small tab. I'll see If I can take a photo or two tomorrow. Too late to take pictures today.

OK, I managed to get a decent picture. If you're is not centered in the opening, perhaps it's not pushed on all the way. There doesn't appear to be any other adjustments.

When you slide the door on, you will push it until it hits a hard stop. If your's is pressed on all the way to the stop but it is still not centered within the opening. I'd be tempted to try someone else's cover on your's on the off chancer that your door was manufactured slight wrong.?

I didn't see any obvious adjustment for where the hinge mounts to the body inside. I'd have to take a look in my service manual.

According to the service manual, there is no adjustment, just removing the entire filler assembly and installing a new one.
