Question What do you think of these plugs??

These are BR7EF plugs since I plan on spraying it in the future. Fresh build cruised for about 30 miles today. How would you rate these plugs as far as being lean, rich, or perfect?

If these have ONLY 30 miles on them, Id say you are running moderately rich. That's a lot of soot buildup for only 30 miles.....which is maybe what, 2 gallons of gas?

The plugs may be too cold for your application too....if you plan on spraying it, then your "normal" running might be too cold.

Yep between idling and a half days worth of driving. I only used about a quarter tank of gas. I was under the impression the white on the plugs meant lean. Would that not be true?

Truth be told, they don't look too bad.. I used to do a ton of engine Dyno work.. Black soot is expected where it has formed.. Ground strap looks clean and a little pepper on the ceramic is what you are looking for.

You need to do more than 30 miles, but they look good or very normal to me not rich.

Thanks that's a very useful chart. I'm going to do a WOT pass and shut it off and inspect the plugs after break in
